The Best Days of Summer
It remains to be seen whether the lockout will end this week, as many in the media are speculating. We hope that there are no setbacks and it indeed does “get done” so that we can get on with free agency and then the best part of summer — TRAINING CAMP! Speaking of which, above we see head coach Bart Starr working with some of his offensive linemen and the blocking sled in a camp photo from along the Oneida Street practice field (now the “Clark Hinkle Field”). In the distance, a pre-skyboxed Lambeau Field sits waiting for the season to start. Two weeks from today, we hope we are in Green Bay watching practice.
