Packers Shareholders Meeting
For those of you who are owners of the Green Bay Packers, and you’re planning on attending the annual Shareholders Meeting, and you responded immediately to your proxy, you would’ve received your tickets to the meeting this week. Your Packerville, U.S.A. staff have not missed an annual meeting since the 1997 stock sale, and we’ll be there on July 29th again. Hopefully, we’ll be able to share some photos with you and some thoughts from the meeting. We will be in Green Bay through the first weekend of Training Camp 2010 as well, and we’ll definitely have photos to share from the first practices of the new season. If you weren’t able to purchase stock in the ’97 sale, you’re probably out of luck since the League and the other 31 teams will almost assuredly never approve another one. The financial rewards are nonexistent, but the feeling of being an owner of the Packers is priceless.
