Fuzzy Takes a Break
On the Green Bay sideline — in 1964 — today, we see Packers’ guard Fred “Fuzzy” Thurston (#63) discussing the offense’s performance with a player who could be Max McGee at left. A member of the football staff also watches the action, while the other guard, Jerry Kramer, enters the photo at right. If you attend a Green Bay home game these days, head over to “Fuzzy’s #63” (2511 W. Mason Street) after it’s over. You can meet him and you may also see some other Lombardi Era Packers who are in town for games. A couple of years ago, we met both Fuzzy and Jerry Kramer. Thurston also runs Titletown Tickets and Tours, with ticket packages for both home and away games.
