For many years, we’ve collected the annual season preview magazines, when they almost always had either Brett Favre or Aaron Rodgers on the cover (at least of the midwest editions). There are now only two such magazines currently being published (excluding Fantasy Football editions), and we picked up this year’s versions. In his initial year as the Packers’ starter at QB, Jordan Love is not “worthy” of the cover spot, apparently. So, what do these publications have to say about the Green Bay Packers’ prospects in the coming campaign?
There is no prediction for their 2023 record, but Athlon ranks our team in 5th position in the overall NFC power rankings going into the season. At the end of the regular season, they state that Green Bay will be seeded 3rd in the NFC, but will fall to Dallas in the Wild Card round. Their Super Bowl prediction has the Chiefs repeating as champions after beating the Seattle Seahawks.
Lindy’s Sports
The Packers aren’t predicted to do great things by the Lindy’s staff, as they are shown finishing third in the NFC North standings ahead of Chicago. Accordingly, they aren’t seen as a playoff team, and their version of the Super Bowl has San Francisco beating the Buffalo Bills.
