The three-day mandatory minicamp starts next Tuesday. These practices, along with Training Camp, take place on Ray Nitschke Field behind the Don Hutson Center.Once the season starts in September, the team’s practices move to Clark Hinkle Field, seen here. The fences are covered to prevent spying, so this is the only time of year you’ll see this field.We’ll be getting two new billboards (seen above and below) this year on the side of The Don Hutson Center.
For many years, the fans’ view of Training Camp practices was through this fence. The addition of Ray Nitschke Field in 1997 was a welcomed improvement, offering permanent seating and an unobstructed view of practices.FB/LB Clark Hinkle, who played for the Packers from 1932 to 1941, is honored on the in-season practice field.A long view of Clark Hinkle Field.
