Here are a few things that we thought we’d get up on the blog before this week’s TV Maps are posted. Above, legendary Hall of Fame QB Bart Starr was at the University of Alabama yesterday, meeting with Jalen Hurts and Tua Tagovailoa, and he gave them signed No. 15 Green Bay Packers jerseys. Starr look pretty good in the video of the event. We’re glad he’s feeling well enough to get out and do these things.
This week’s Monday edition of the Chicago Sun Times used this description on the front of the sports pages following the Bears 24-17 win over the Packers. This is a particularly personal shot at the Packers and the city of Green Bay, obviously known as “Titletown” since 1961. When the Packers sweep the Bears next season, maybe Green Bay should refer to themselves in a description usually used for Chicago... some thing like, “Dirty, Crime-Infested, Corrupt [Expletive]-Hole.”
