Dolphins at Packers — Part I
We headed up to Green Bay on Friday before the November 11th game. Usually we go up on Thursday and return on Monday, but my Dad’s funeral came first. Above, as we drive through Milwaukee, the sign says that all lanes head to Green Bay.
The upper midwest got some snow Thursday night, but the roads were clear. Here you can see a picturesque eastern Wisconsin farm scene along Interstate 43.
Winter has shown up before Thanksgiving, giving us sights like this.

This is our favorite sign that we see on each trip to Titletown.

We took this photo of Lambeau Field on Friday evening while driving back from Festival Foods on Mason St.
On Saturday morning, the Miami Dolphins’ equipment truck was unloading on the south end of the stadium.

Sunday morning — game day — dawned with a light covering of snow in Green Bay.
After parking in a neighborhood near Lambeau Field, we noticed this house flying a San Francisco 49ers flag. Two guesses: 1.) This California native wants to make it clear that he may have moved to Green Bay, but he is not a fan of the local team, or 2.) this fan got sick of the Packers’ losing in the 1980’s and latched onto a “winning team” in that decade.

While not as many as during a Vikings’ or Cowboys’ game, the team from Miami was fairly well represented.
