2015 Training Camp — Day 6

After watching the players riding the kids’ bikes, we watched Day 6 of 2015 Green Bay Packers Training Camp. On the way to the practice field, we took this photo of the building where they store a lot of the pads and other practice equipment. We thought you might be interested.

Since we committed ourselves to watching the bike parade, we gave up our usual routine of waiting to get a prime seat in the stands along Ray Nitschke Field. So, we watched practice this day from a different perspective. 

The linemen of offense and defense squaring off against each other.

The south end of Ray Nitschke Field generally has fewer fans along the fence. 

Pretty quiet around the southernmost gate as well. 

Packers fans from around the country put a pin in their hometown. There is also a world map (not shown) with quite a few pins on it. 

The northernmost gate (along Armed Forces Drive) has more activity. 

The northern fence of Ray Nitschke Field is usually packed. 

Standing room only, with limited views. 

Packers’ equipment crew and fans shag field goals (the balls are returned to the field).
