As we near the 2012 NFL Draft, which will be one week from today, we thought we’d go back quite a ways and bring you a complete 1939 game program from that championship season. This match against the Chicago Cardinals took place at State Fair Park in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in front of 18,965 fans. Green Bay won that day 27-20. The team finished with a 9-2-0 record, winning the Western Division crown before defeating the New York Giants 27-0 in Milwaukee for their fifth title under head coach Curly Lambeau. It’s interesting to read the biographies of the players, several of which are Hall of Famers from this era. Enjoy.
