Dick Deschaine
Digging back into the more obscure reaches of Packers’ history, we have a photo today of former punter Dick Deschaine. He was an all-around Menominee (Mich.) High athlete in the late 1940s, and a talented amateur baseball and softball player. Despite never playing college football, he was the second leading punter in the N.F.L. in 1955 and 1956 while a member of the Green Bay Packers from 1955-1957.
