The photo above is from the early days of the Green Bay dynasty — either 1959 or 1960. There is a new documentary about the life of Vince Lombardi that will soon make its world premiere at Lambeau Field in Green Bay. It's called "Lombardi" and it was produced by HBO Sports and N.F.L. Films. It will be shown November 18th in the Legends Club on the fourth floor of the Lambeau Field Atrium. Packers greats Bart Starr and Jerry Kramer, Lombardi's family, and Packers players and staff are expected to attend the screening, which is by invitation only. Lombardi coached the Packers to five N.F.L. championships from 1959 to 1967, including the first two Super Bowls. The Super Bowl trophy is named in his honor. The film will debut December 11 on HBO.
