Since the season has ended and interest in Packer football matters seem to wane in the late winter months, Packerville will take some time off to re-charge our pigskin batteries. Our staff at Packerville, U.S.A. headquarters (pictured above) will continue to locate and catalog interesting Green Bay Packers photos, stories, and memorabilia to share in the coming months after our break. The Packers lost that day in front of 78,947 fans in beautiful 70-degree weather. For the season, Green Bay finished with a 8-6-0 record, which placed them in third place in the NFL Central Division. This was the last season before the “NFC Central” was created with the AFL-NFL merger.
