1965 Training Camp Preview
For the 60th anniversary of the 1965 Green Bay Packers championship season, we are presenting the “Touchdown Edition” season preview issue from the Green Bay Press-Gazette. This probably has a limited-interest audience, but it’s here for those folks, and for football posterity. Enjoy a look back at the players of the Lombardi Era, and all of the vintage local ads.

Another Pro Football Preview
Athlon Sports is the other publication that we normally purchase as far as preview publications go. Their 2025 NFL Preview issue is out, and even though purchased in Green Bay, it has Vikings WR Justin Jefferson on the cover, with QB Jordan Love relegated as part of a trio of NFC signal-callers.
In the NFC, Athlon has the Packers finishing second in the division, placing them as the sixth seed for the playoffs. They have them losing to the Buccaneers in the Wild Card round, with the Eagles beating the Lions in the NFC title game again, and the Bills overcoming their history to win Super Bowl LX. We’ll see how it all plays out as the season nears.
