History, Do Not Repeat Thyself

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably heard about the comparisons of this Thanksgiving to the Thanksgiving of 1962. That is when the 10-0 Packers went into Detroit’s Tiger Stadium and lost to the Lions — their only loss of the ’62 season. We’re here to formally request that history shall not repeat this Thursday. On the bright side, that Green Bay team repeated as N.F.L. Champions anyway.

Here’s the game’s listing in the November 1962 T.V. Guide for that week.

Here’s to the Packers being 11-0 after Thursday’s game.

well the packers have areas to address if they can win----defensive line----pressure on stafford, tackling, stop the run; Offense: blocking-give time to rodgers??? running game???? and turnovers---i do not see green bay winning due to these problems and 11 days and 3 games while Detroit is well rested...
