Looking through a 1968 preseason game program, we came upon this ad featuring Hall of Fame DE Willie Davis, for Knippel-Selig Ford in Milwaukee. Digging for history is fun, especially when it involves the Packers.

The “Selig” in Knippel-Selig was Ben Selig, father of retiring MLB commissioner Bud Selig. Bud was also on the Green Bay Packers board of directors for many years, and of course, brought the Milwaukee Brewers to town in 1970.
