It looks (tentatively) like we may be getting (tentatively) close to a possible deal with the players giving their Okee-Dokee to the owner’s proposal. Maybe Monday. Maybe. Tentatively. Hopefully. Why are we posting today’s photo of Fred “Fuzzy” Thurston? Why not? He’s still one of our favorites, and we’re pretty sure he’s anxious to get the season going as well.We will be in Green Bay on Thursday for the Shareholders’ Meeting (haven’t missed one yet!), and it would be really nice if Training Camp was gearing up then as well. If it does begin almost as scheduled, we are going to stay through the week on the annual vacation. That means attending a lot of practices, and lots of photos of Training Camp ’11 here on Packerville, U.S.A. If you’re not able to attend, we’ll try to make you feel like you were there, for a few minutes at least. Stay tuned.
