The 1962 “Salute to the Packers” also was interested in the Packers’ history, so they looked back even further at the football career of Curly Lambeau and what his accomplishments meant to the club. Their prediction was correct about Lambeau being included in the Hall of Fame’s first class in 1963. In fact, there were two other Packers included in the first round of inductions: the fellow standing on the far left, Don Hutson, and also Johnny “Blood” McNally from the early teams of the Twenties (not pictured).
