Antiques Road Show — Green Bay
Last year, the PBS television program Antiques Road Show filmed in Green Bay, Wis., for the first time. We knew about this at the time because a neighbor of ours attended and consulted us beforehand on where to stay, eat, etc. while in town. You can now see this episode on the PBS site here. The article above appears today on the excellent Uni Watch website. If this isn’t a daily stop for you, it should be.

Packers Announce “100 Seasons” Details
Today the Green Bay Packers announced the initial details surrounding their 100th birthday. Since the 2018 is actually their 100th playing season, and their incorporation birthday is August 11, 2019, it will be a two-year celebration.
From the Green Bay Press-Gazette: “The celebration kicks off in June with a traveling interactive exhibit called “Lambeau Field Live,” and picks up at the end of July with a four-day “Packers Experience” at 1265 Lombardi Ave. The free festival will include live music, a replica team locker room, USA Football kids' clinic, Packers alumni Q&A, photo stations and more. The “Experience,” which begins July 26, coincides with the annual shareholders meeting and the start of training camp.
The Packers have produced a Ken Burns-length documentary, “Legacy: 100 Seasons of the Green Bay Packers.” It has 10 episodes covering 10 decades of Packers football, with each episode running from one to two hours. Some decades were more newsworthy than others, and of course will cover 13 championships, including four Super Bowl victories, but also a couple of painfully long spells in the wilderness, including from 1945 to 1959 and from 1968 to 1991.
The documentary series will include never-seen footage and new interviews with current and former players. Portions of the documentary will be available on Packers.com and featured on game days during the fall. The entire series will be available in the fall of 2019.The Packers have not released details about how the series will be distributed.
In 2019, the Packers will release its “100 Seasons” book, a definitive history of the Packers.
Fans can access “100 Seasons” through a special website that launches in June.”
