OTA Practice • June 4, 2018 — Part I

We’ve wanted to get the photos up from our second day at Packers’ OTA’s back at the start of June, but haven’t gotten around to it until today. As you may or may not know, this season marks the team’s 100th season of professional football. Accordingly, as seen above, the west side of the Don Hutson Center has the billboards seen above and below.

You’ll notice the difference in weather between Monday’s practice photos and these first three photos, which were taken on Sunday.

Monday, June 5th, was a great weather day for a Green Bay Packers practice — cool, but also windy. Above, the usual players milling about before they need to get to work.

A group of your defensive players on the field prior to team calisthenics.

RB Ty Montgomery (#88) finds a spot in the ranks to perform his calisthenics.

HC Mike McCarthy and QB Aaron Rodgers (#12) having an important conversation. Or, Rodgers is instructing the coach to leave the field immediately.

DE Dean Lowry (#94) stretching out the ol’ muscles.

Players doing a version of an “upward dog.”

Limbering up before running.

Good ol’ fashioned sprinting.

The defense getting down to work on the field.

A gaggle of QB’s await instruction.

Above and below, the offensive and defensive lines lining up for, and then participating in, some action.

TE Marcedes Lewis (#85) and TE Jimmy Graham (#80).

A new drill... the catching of volleyballs by the defensive backs. Here, first-round pick CB Jaire Alexander (#23) snags one.

S Josh Jones (#20).

CB Kevin King (#20).

TE Jimmy Graham (#80) catching a football instead of a volleyball.

QB Aaron Rodgers (#12) taking a snap as fellow signal callers Deshone Kizer (#9), Tim Boyle (#8), and Brett Hundley (#7) look on.

G/T Adam Pankey (#77) works against T Kyle Meadows (#72).

Rookie P J.K. Scott (#6) booms one during special teams drills.

More special teams action.
