Seattle at Green Bay — The Game #2

We’ll back with Part II of our gallery of images from last Sunday’s Packers-Seahawks game at Lambeau Field. Above, Seattle DE Michael Bennett makes his case to the refs.

Packers’ Head Coach Mike McCarthy also in conference with an official.

LB Blake Martinez (#50) makes a tackle on Seattle RB Eddie Lacy, a former teammate in Green Bay. Lacy only had three yards on five rushing attempts. That’s hardly “sticking it” to the team that let him go.

QB Aaron Rodgers (#12), T David Bakhtiari (#69), and TE Marcellus Bennett (#80).

The Packers’ offense backed up against their own goal line.

RB Ty Montgomery (#88) gets the handoff from QB Aaron Rodgers (#12).

QB Aaron Rodgers (#12) decides he needs to get out of the pocket.

Above and below, it was a picture-perfect weather day in northeast Wisconsin.

S Kentrell Brice (#29) and LB Jake Ryan (#47) converge on Seattle WR Tyler Lockett (#16), who has just fair-caught a punt.

QB Russell Wilson (#3) scrambles left and looks for a receiver.

Packers’ president and CEO Mark Murphy and GM Ted Thompson watch the game from their private box. Next door is the broadcast booth for WTMJ/Green Bay Packers Radio Network.

WR Davante Adams (#17) and WR Randall Cobb (#18) await the snap of the ball.

The Seattle offense huddles while the Packers’ defense is ready.

LB Clay Matthews (#52) is ready to rush from the outside.

Double FOX cameramen.

The last time the Packers played Seattle, I found out that I can’t yell and make noise the whole game anymore. It felt like I was swallowing broken glass for the next four days. Getting too old, I guess.

The specialists’ lonely life on the sideline.

CB Davon House (#31), DE Dean Lowry (#94), and S Morgan Burnett (#42).

LB Nick Perry (#53) bags QB Russell Wilson (#3).

DT Mike Daniels (#76) forced Wilson to fumble on this play, and the Packers’ LB Kyler Fackrell (#51) recovered.

RB Ty Montgomery (#88) falls backwards into the north end zone for a third quarter TD.

A nice hole opens up for RB Ty Montgomery (#88).

WR Jordy Nelson (#87) is congratulated coming off the field following his third quarter TD reception.

QB Aaron Rodgers (#12) leaps to throw.

QB Aaron Rodgers (#12) got banged up in the fourth quarter, and was noticeably limping and grimacing.

But QB Aaron Rodgers (#12) stayed in the game and finished out the battle.

Victory formation for the Green Bay Packers’ offense.

The final score.

Always good to see.

A final look at Lambeau Field as we walked back to the Packerville, U.S.A. Green Bay headquarters with a win under our belts.
