The Offseason

And now we kick off the long offseason after a Super Bowl that was anything but super. These next months will crawl slowly by as the weather slowly, eventually, gets warmer and basketball and baseball become the focus of the sporting world. Other than the NFL Combine and the NFL Draft, football news is slow to come by in this interlude. We’re not going anywhere, but there may be some breaks in our new material. We do have some good stuff coming, so please check back to see what’s cookin'. We just thought that this was a good photo to share — QB Aaron Rodgers receiving the Bart Starr Award this past week from The Man himself.

We used to eat at the Guido’s Supper Club in Racine, Wisconsin.
Great food!
The Prime Rib was fantastic.

Here's a little bit more information about Guido’s:

Bill Wells' first business foray in the world of food came in 1962 with the opening of his first eatery, Bill's Cozy Lounge, a 35-seat bistro located in a former shoe store in Racine. Upon hearing legendary Green Bay Packers coach Vince Lombardi complain about the lack of good Italian restaurants in his team's city, Mr. Wells rounded up starting capital from a few friends to open his first Guido's Restaurant next to Lambeau Field.
