Packers from the Past — Lavvie Dilweg

Since we’re in the early-mid part of the week with not a whole lot else going on, we’ll take the time to share some more of the Packers of the Past booklet from 1965. Today it’s a couple of pages on La Vern “Lavvie” Dilweg. And if you remember obscure trivia, his grandson Anthony played QB for Green Bay in the very early 90’s.

• Thompson: Opportunities still out there

• Rookie QB B.J. Coleman feeling more confident

• TE Jermichael Finley's big week

• NT B.J. Raji part of deepest D-Line

• The McCarren Report: Position battles

PACKERS ON THE FIELD:
• No Hard Knocks on McCarthy's TV
• McCarthy: Third preseason game remains key
• Packers' defensive backfield still unsettled

Important dates to remember (all times CDT):
