From the Past — “Buckets” Goldenberg

There wasn’t much going on with the Packers on Friday after Thursday night’s victory in Cincinnati, so we’re sharing another player from the Packers of the Past booklet (1965). Today we meet G/RB Charles “Buckets” Goldenberg, who played for Green Bay from 1933-1945.

Mike McCarthy is happy with the pass rush

Here’s where we spent Friday night — working the “chain gang” for high school football. Always the best seat in the house.

PACKERS ON THE FIELD:
• Packers release five players
Hargrove among five cut by Packers
• McCarthy praises defense's play
• Is Graham Harrell a good backup?
• Harrell gets no guarantees
• He's baaack: Tramon Williams returns to form
• Ten things we learned from win
