No Practice Day

There was no practice today in Training Camp 2011, so we had a free day of bumming around and relaxing (this is a vacation after all). We thought we’d just post a few random photos of things around here. Above, we don’t want to make a big deal about it, but this was the scene in the Packers Pro Shop on Monday. It has come to this. Someday, all will be forgotten. We have moved on, but we thought this was interesting.

Here’s the players parking lot at Lambeau Field. It’s good to see vehicles in there. It sure was empty for six months.

If you’re in town, take the Lambeau Field tour. This time of year, they go non-stop all day, and you’ll need to get there in the morning and sign up for a time later in the day before they’re sold out.

Also be sure to get a famous butter burger at Kroll’s across the street from the west side of Lambeau.

It’s got a quaint Wisconsin supper-club/coffee shop atmosphere.

The restaurant is complete with some Packers’ memorabilia, and a wall of signatures from Packers notables from the past and present. That’s it for today... it’s back to practice tomorrow evening.
