Quarterback Bart Starr enjoys some great protection in a home game at City Stadium in their 1962 contest with the Baltimore Colts. This match-up occurred on November 18th of that year — in front of 38,669 fans. The Packers prevailed that day, 17-13.For any of you making plans to visit Packers Training Camp this year, the practice schedule was announced today. The Packerville staff has made plans to spend four days in Titletown at the opening of camp, which will start on the Saturday following the annual Shareholders’ meeting (to be held on Thursday, July 29th).
We’ll be at the meeting too, and coverage of it and the start of camp will be well documented here on the blog. This will be our 22nd straight year of faithfully attending training camp, and there is no better way to spend a few summer days.
